Another person in B.C. has died from the coronavirus as the number of confirmed cases in the province and the Island continues to grow.

B.C.’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister of Health Adrian Dix announced Saturday that there are 74 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C.

The number of cases also includes seven new cases reported within the Vancouver Island Health Authority.

The death brings the province’s overall total to 10. That person is from the Lynn Valley Care facility in North Vancouver, where at eight other people have died.
