Four are dead and three others are injured after a construction crane fell on traffic in Seattle Saturday afternoon.
The Seattle Fire Department says they responded around 3:30 p.m. to Fairview Avenue North near the downtown core after reports of the crane falling on multiple cars.
The three injured in the incident have been taken to hospital.
According to King 5 News in Seattle, the crane fell across a building undergoing construction along Mercer Street — and trapped several cars underneath.
The cause of the incident has not been released.
The road impacted has been blocked off from the public, motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
