
West Shore RCMP say three men were arrested on July 18 during a drug trafficking investigation in View Royal.
According to West Shore RCMP, there were numerous complaints from neighbourhood residents about suspicious activity on a residential property near Island Highway and Trans Canada Highway in View Royal.
On July 18, police carried out a search warrant on the property and arrested three men.
RCMP said they discovered evidence of suspected drug trafficking activity operating out of the home and seized numerous items including over 80 grams of narcotic suspected to be a combination of cocaine and crack cocaine, one replica long gun, approximately $1,000 in Canadian currency and one vehicle believed to be used for drug trafficking.
The three suspects were ages 59, 72 and 69. West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit is still investigating and several drug trafficking-related charges are expected.
