Search continues for suspect in stabbing on Galloping Goose Trail

Victoria police say they are searching for one suspect after a stabbing Thursday afternoon on the Galloping Goose trail.

The assault occurred at around 3:50 p.m. on the trail in the 300-block of Waterfront Crescent, in the Burnside neighbourhood.

Police say one man was found in “potentially life-threatening condition.” He was taken to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services and his current condition is unknown.

VicPD officers are searching the area for the suspect and are gathering evidence. People will see traffic disruptions in the area and on the Galloping Goose trail.
