A driver was airlifted to hospital on Friday following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Campbell River.
BC Emergency Health Services says paramedics were called to the crash at the corner of Larwood Road and the South Island Highway around 11:25 a.m.
First responders had to extract the driver from the vehicle, who was conscious at the time, according to RCMP.
Both a ground ambulance and air ambulance were dispatched to the crash.
Paramedics say they cared for one person at the scene before taking them to hospital by air ambulance in “serious but stable condition,” according to paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites.
