Did you feel it?
Environment Canada says a 1.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded 11 kilometres north of Victoria at 8:07 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 35 kilometres and was “lightly felt” in the Greater Victoria area, according to Environment Canada’s website.
There were no reports of damage and Environment Canada says none would be expected.
