Grizzlies’ Newhook reflects on injury, plans return for playoffs

WATCH: Despite a broken wrist, Victoria Grizzlies rookie forward Alex Newhook is hoping to be back on the ice in three weeks, when the BCHL playoffs come around.

Newhook suffered the injury on Wednesday night in Duncan and will not require surgery. At the time of the injury, Newhook was in the running for the BCHL scoring title, but will unfortunately be out of the running after sustaining the injury. The Grizzlies will look to fill the void for the remainder of the regular season.
