Youth suspected of stealing 'old style' printer and loose change from vehicle in Oak Bay, police investigating

Police in Oak Bay are investigating an alleged theft involving a young person and a motor vehicle in the 2300-block of Hamiota Street.

Police in Oak Bay are investigating a reported theft involving a young person and a motor vehicle.

The Oak Bay Police Department says on April 12 a witness observed a youth between eight and 12 years old allegedly steal a printer and some loose change from a parked vehicle in the 2300-block of Hamiota Street.

The youth was dressed in black clothing and wearing a red backpack enter at the time and was seen in the parking area of a condominium building prior to the alleged theft.

Police say there was no video surveillance available.
