Yates Street vandalism suspect sought by VicPD

Victoria Police are looking for a suspect in a case of vandalism, which was caught on video on Dec. 12.

Police were contacted after the damage was discovered on the buildings at 845 and 848 Yates Street.

The building at 845 Yates St. is an apartment complex, and 848 Yates St. is a condo tower.

The video, which was captured around 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 12, shows one other individual who watched the suspect spray paint one of the buildings. Afterwards the two enter the condo building at 848 Yates St. with a group of people.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5’10”, with a medium build. He has brown wavy hair. He is wearing a black ball cap with a red emblem, a white shirt with a design on the front overtop a dark long-sleeve shirt, beige pants, red and white shoes and is carrying a black shoulder bag.
