Wounded Warriors Canada introduces COPE: Couples Overcoming PTSD Everyday

CHEK

Founded by LCol (retired) Chris Linford and his wife Kathryn, who are the National Ambassadors of Wounded Warriors Canada, COPE is an innovative program for military couples struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. COPE (Couples Overcoming PTSD Everyday) recognizes that PTSD also affects the spouses and the children, not just the traumatized soldier. COPE is starting small, with just 5 couples in the initial program, but Wounded Warriors Canada hopes to see this ground-breaking therapy expand to become a national program to help all Canadian military families crippled with PTSD. Veronica Cooper has the story.
