Quick work from firefighters helped keep a fire from spreading into a historic building in Cobble Hill after a vehicle crashed into it early Tuesday morning.
A red car slammed into the Cobble Hill Community Hall around 6:15 a.m. and caught on fire.
Mill Bay fire personnel arrived shortly after the crash and put out the fire before it spread into the 97-year-old building.
A passerby went the scene and pulled out the lone occupant of the vehicle.
