Witnesses in Campbell River say a home was fully involved in flames Wednesday night near École Mer-et-Montagne.
Richard Coon-Gladstone told CHEK he saw smoke from his residence on Robron Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
He says he went for a drive and discovered the fire at what he believed to be a townhome on Murray Place, near the french-language school.
Coon-Gladstone says he saw three fire trucks and an ambulance at the scene.
Around 9:20 p.m., Campbell River fire tweeted a video of the blaze, showing the extent of the fire.

Officials say all occupants of the home managed to escape.
Other witnesses say the home’s occupants managed to escape.
