Someone in Victoria is half a million dollars richer.
Playnow has posted Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 results to its website, saying someone in B.C.’s capital matched all four numbers in the Classic Draw Extra Prize to win $500,000.
The Extra winning numbers were 6, 11, 59 and 96.
According to the lottery corporation’s website, no one won the $40 million Gold Ball Prize Draw, and a $1 million White Ball Prize ticket was sold in Quebec.
The latest lottery luck comes after it was revealed two lottery ticket holders in Victoria and Ontario would split last Tuesday’s $70 million Lotto Max jackpot.
For that draw, both holders matched all seven numbers.
