Wind Warning Issued for Greater Victoria

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Greater Victoria. A low pressure system is forecast to move across southern Vancouver Island tonight. Winds of 60 to 80 km/h will develop over Greater Victoria and the Southern Gulf Islands this evening. The strong winds have the potential to cause damage to buildings, roof shingles, and windows.  The winds will ease late overnight and move inland.
