Western Forest Products and United Steelworkers Local 1-1937 are heading back to the bargaining table on Tuesday.
The union says mediation will resume tomorrow in the ongoing forest workers strike affecting nearly 3,000 people. According to the union, they have received confirmed from the mediators that Western Forest Products is prepared to make movement in its position.

Western Forest Products employees and contracted workers at six Island manufacturing plants, and timberlands around the B.C. coast, have been on strike since July 1. The workers are demanding fair wages and working conditions.
