West Shore RCMP seize cash and cocaine in drug bust

Two men have been arrested for drug trafficking after a neighbours called in a tip of suspicious activity in a house in Langford.

The West Shore RCMP Drug Unit used a variety of techniques to gather evidence, which included setting up undercover surveillance of the home and the suspects.

Two men, aged 24 and 39 were arrested for drug trafficking on November 22nd. Police also searched the home in question and a car.

The information we received from concerned citizens directly assisted us in this investigation. The investigation was a success and we seized trafficking quantities of cocaine that was packaged and ready to be sold along with approximately $2000 in cash,” said Cst. Pollock of the West Shore RCMP Drug Unit.

In the arrest and raid, police also seized a tazer, as well as the car that RCMP say, was being used to deliver drugs.
