'We will get you and your little dog': Police seek suspects who stole roughly $5,000 worth of tools

Police are on the hunt for two people who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of tools from a construction site in Greater Victoria.

According to the Saanich Police Department, two people, who were with a dog, stole around $5,000 worth of tools and equipment from a construction site in the 5100-block of Cordova Bay Road.

Const. Markus Anastasiades, media spokesperson with the Saanich PD, told CHEK News the incident took place on Jan. 24.

“We’re hoping someone will recognize the suspects and/or the dog photographed with them,” he said.

The alleged theft was also shared on the Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers Facebook page.

“Luckily for us, you were caught on security camera and now we get to share your photos with our amazing followers, who will recognize you and tell us your name. We will get you and your little dog too! Well not your dog, because we like dogs,” the post reads.
