‘We have to send a message:’ BC Football Conference suspends Rebel’s player for entire season

WATCH: Despite having no prior incidents with the league, Rebels linebacker Cordell Holder has been suspended for the remainder of the BCFC season, including playoffs. The suspension is a result of Holder’s involvement during a fourth-quarter incident with the V.I. Raiders which saw two other Rebels given one-game suspensions. According to a league official, the suspension is the harshest punishment enforced by the league in the last 27 seasons. The Rebels will not appeal the suspension and Holder has been released by the organization.
