Warm weather on parts of Vancouver Island Sunday and Monday

Summer is not here just yet but it sure feels like the season has already begun on parts of Vancouver Island.

Environment Canada a high of 28 C is expected in Port Alberni on Sunday followed by a high of 26 C on Monday with a chance of showers. A high of 25 C is in the forecast for Tuesday.

Campbell River is set to see a high of 26 C on Sunday and 27 C on Monday. Courtenay, Comox and Nanaimo are also expected to see the same temperatures on both days before it gets cooler later in the week.

The northern, western and southern parts of Vancouver Island are expected to see cooler temperatures throughout the week.
