Viking Aircraft celebrates Twin Otter number 100 in a unique manner

The manufacturers got various northern communities as well as their workers to autograph the wing ribs.

Prior to the completion of their 100th 400 series Twin Otter, the company flew to some far flung communities in the Northwest Territories for the signings in recognition of the planes contribution, helping to build the north & continuing to maintain it.

While over 800 of the aircraft were built starting in the 60’s by DeHavilland in Ontario, this one is a milestone achievement for Viking, who received the type certification to produce them in 2006.
