Vikes guard sets new school scoring record in heartbreaking loss to UBC

WATCH: 5th year guard Amira Giannatassio broke a 40-year UVIC Vikes Women’s Basketball scoring record Thursday night by registering 44 points in a 113-108 triple overtime loss to the UBC Thunderbirds. The two teams renew acquaintances Saturday night at UVIC’s CARSA gym.
