Home surveillance video captured the moment a cougar strolled around a home in Port Alberni.
The cougar walked through the backyard of the property before heading towards a storage tent on Tuesday night.
The homeowners say inside the tent they found the remains of a racoon the next morning.

The cougar returned on Wednesday night at about 8:30 p.m.
This time, it ventured onto the front porch steps before moving on.
The homeowners contacted the BC Conservation Officer Service, but there’s no word yet if it has taken any action.
