A 25-year-old Victoria woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly dealing drugs close to the police station on Caledonia Avenue.
According to police, Crime Reduction Unit officers began investigating the woman this week after she was seen allegedly selling drugs near the station.
“In fact, the suspect’s drug dealing was so blatant and so close that our investigators found the best means to conduct the majority of the surveillance and investigation did not require them to leave the station,” Victoria police said in a statement.
Investigators executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon and arrested the woman. Officers also seized drugs, money and other items.
Officers are recommending drug-related charges. The woman was released on a promise to appear.
