Store front cannabis retailer gets a City of Victoria business license
The City of Victoria has issued the first business license to a store-front cannabis retailer.
Farmacy, located at 3055 Scott Street did not require rezoning.
The property is under an existing land use contract that trumps current zoning by-laws.
An inspection of the business confirmed that it is complying with regulations.
All other operators are required to apply for a rezoning.
To date, one property has been successfully rezoned, and 26 applications are in process.
