If you don’t want cold pizza, you should probably invest in a microwave instead of speeding on city streets.
At least that’s the message from the Victoria Police Department.
According to VicPD, officers caught a driver going 69 kilometres an hour in a 30 km/hr zone near Cook Street Village over the BC Day long weekend.
The driver reportedly said the reason they were speeding was because they didn’t want their pizza to “get cold.”
VicPD didn’t buy it and instead gave the motorist a $196 ticket, three demerit points, and a “strong recommendation” to use a microwave.
