Police were called to the multi-unit Queen’s Manor in the 700-block of Queen’s Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
VicPD received a report a man had flashed a handgun and uttered threatening statements at a building in the area.
The man was seen entering the residential building and made his way inside a unit.
Officers discovered a handgun tucked into the waistband of the man’s pants and once officers recognized the man, they made contact with him and began negotiating his surrender.
The incident ended just after 8 p.m. and the man was taken into custody without incident.
There were no injuries.
After a search warrant was approved, officers went through the unit and collected evidence, including a replica handgun.
