Victoria officially enters bid for 2022 Commonwealth Games

A local committee backed by local and provincial governments are hoping to bring the Commonwealth Games back to the Capital Region.

Victoria hosted the games back in 1994, and is the last Canadian city to host the international, multi-sport spectacle. 

Other city’s expected to be in contention include the UK’s Liverpool and Birmingham.
