While many students might not want to see their teachers dancing, staff at a Victoria high school have virtually joined together to do just that.

Teachers at Victoria High School, often referred to as Vic High, created a video montage of all of them dancing by themselves, unsurprisingly to the tune of “Dancing with Myself” by Billy Idol.

The video on Youtube was viewed over 4,500 times in the first two days of being posted.

Many have commented on the video saying, “Quality quarantine content,” and “A big shout out to the Vic High Staff.”

Like all public schools across the province, Vic High is closed and teachers are instructing via an online model, and students are learning from home. The Province recently announced funding to provide all K to 12 teachers with licenses to Zoom, an online video chat service to make at-home learning easier and more interactive.

All public schools in B.C. were closed as of March 17, in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. There have been no dates released on when the in-class teaching can resume.
