A Victoria apartment building was briefly evacuated Monday afternoon after a fire broke out in a fourth-floor unit.
The call came in around 4:40 p.m.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy black smoke coming out of a single suite.
Officials say the fire caused a patio door to blow out.
No one was injured in the incident, but one person has been displaced.
The wood frame building did not have a sprinkler system.
A fire investigator was called to the scene, but as of Monday evening, there was no word on the cause of the fire.
