Victoria Police officers are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who was reported to be uttering threats while armed with a golf club at a Victoria business.

According to police, the incident took place at approximately 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 19 after receiving a report that a man threatened staff while carrying a golf club.

The incident, which took place in the 600-block of Queens Avenue, reportedly began after a different man had a dispute with staff at the business.

Police were told that following the dispute, the man left the property and returned a short time later with the suspect, who threatened to harm staff while he was holding a golf club.

The man left the property after reportedly uttering threats and no one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old man standing approximately five feet, eight inches tall, with short dark hair and is pictured above.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was shirtless, wore sunglasses, and burgundy pants.

The file is currently under investigation.
