
Police say a man who was wanted for breaching his release order has been arrested.
William Watts, who had previously been subject to numerous robbery convictions and was deemed a risk to the public was wanted by police, Jan. 30.
In a press release early Wednesday morning, Victoria Police say they have located the man in Port Alberni and have carried out an arrest.

Victoria police are searching for a high-risk man wanted on a B.C.-wide warrant.
William Watts, 49, is wanted for a breach of his release order and is considered to be at high risk of reoffending due to his previous convictions for robbery, according to VicPD.
In a news release, police describe Watts as an Indigenous man standing at 5’10” with a muscular build weighing around 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Watts is advised not to approach him and immediately call 911.
