VicPD respond to a robbery at Paul Mara Jewellers on July 19.

Victoria police are searching for two suspects after Paul Mara Jewellers was robbed.

Officers were called to the 600-block of Fort Street around 4:40 p.m. Victoria police spokesman Bowen Osoko said a number of items were recovered, but wouldn’t say exactly what was stolen.

“We had a couple different calls regarding it in very quick succession so my understanding is I think people outside likely saw something amiss,” Osoko said.

According to police, the suspects fled the scene on a motorcycle. Police said the suspects are wearing white helmets and black vests with green stripes. They were last seen heading towards Government Street on Broughton Street. Police have not confirmed if any weapons were involved in the robbery.

Anyone who sees the suspects is asked to call 911. If anyone was in the area at the time of the robbery, they can call VicPD at 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
