Victoria police are asking for the public’s help as they continue their investigation into two sexual assaults that may be connected.

Officers say on Dec. 4 at 9:15 p.m. they were called after a woman who was getting of a bus in the Burnside Road and Carrol Street area had a man run up and slap her butt.

He fled and was described as a white man standing five feet six inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a brown, red, and beige knitted cap with stripes, a dark top and dark pants.

On Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. police were called to the Galloping Goose trail near Gorge Road East after a woman had a man grab her.

He fled after she yelled and is described as five feet, four inches tall with a slim build and wearing a black hoody with the hood up.
