
Victoria Police are asking for assistance in locating a high-risk missing woman.
Maya McKay was last seen Thursday afternoon in the Burnside Gorge neighbourhood, according to police.
She is described as a 52-year-old Caucasian woman with long black hair and brown eyes. She is five feet, four inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds with a medium build.
We left out an important descriptor – Maya uses a wheelchair.

Police say she was last seen wearing a grey and white striped shirt with a pink or peach-coloured sweater. She was also wearing grey jogging pants, grey shoes, a silver watch and an orthotic brace on her left leg and foot.
Police say she also uses a wheelchair.
VicPD is asking the public to call 911 if McKay is seen. They also ask if anyone has any information on her whereabouts, to call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654.
