A 44-year-old Errington woman is facing several charges after she was pulled over by officers with the Oceanside RCMP Crime Reduction Unit on Thursday.
The RCMP says that at around 11:40 a.m., the officers noticed a suspicious vehicle and recognized the driver who they knew to be prohibited from driving. They pulled the vehicle over on Barclay Crescent in Parksville and arrested the woman.
A search of the vehicle uncovered trafficking level quantities of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, unknown pills, as well as $760 in cash.
The woman has been released from custody and will make her appearance in Nanaimo Provincial Court on proposed charges relating to Driving While Prohibited and Trafficking Drugs.
