Emergency services are tending to a vehicle rollover next to the Bay Street Armoury in Victoria.
At around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, emergency services were called out to an area near Bay and Blanshard streets for a crash involving two cars.
Police say one of the vehicles was travelling northbound on Blanshard Street when it crossed over the median and struck a vehicle heading in the opposite direction.
BC Emergency Health Services says three people were taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
One of the vehicles, a Ford Ranger, was overturned entirely as a result of the collision.
Currently, it isn’t clear what caused the crash.
Emergency services had to extract one of the drivers from the wreck.
Southbound traffic moving from Hillside Avenue has slowed due to this incident.
