Traffic backed up to a standstill on the Malahat near Goldstream after a vehicle overturned late Friday morning.
Traffic was alternating right-of-way near Finlayson Arm Rd. just before noon on Friday, with traffic completely stopped heading Southbound for over 30 minutes.
Just after 12:10 p.m., DriveBC tweeted that the accident scene had been cleared.

Westshore RCMP say that the overturned vehicle was headed southbound when it went off-road into the ditch, hitting the rock wall and rolling over onto the driver side.
Police say the driver was the only occupant and suffered no injuries. RCMP are investigating a possible impaired driving charge as the driver is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
