Saanich Police is asking for the public’s help to identify a pedestrian involved in a collision with a vehicle Wednesday morning that closed an intersection to traffic.
The collision happened in the 3900-block of Cedar Hill Cross Road, around the intersection of Blenkinsop Road.
The woman police hope to speak with has not been identified and is described as a being 65 to 80-years-old and of Asian descent, 5’1″ tall with a slight build.
Police say she was wearing a green Gap windbreaker, a black toque, white mittens, off-white khaki pants and brown Timberland hiking boots.
Authorities say she was in possession of a Sony cassette walkman and earphones.
“We are asking members of the public to review the description provided and determine
if this may be somebody in your life,” Saanich D/Sgt. Damian Kowalewich said in a release.
