Hundreds gathered in Victoria’s Inner Harbour Saturday for the christening of V2V, a private passenger ferry service slated to run between downtown Vancouver and Victoria.

The private passenger ferry service slated to launch May 1st, will now begin service mid-May.

The delay follows sea trials conducted over the last several days.

Passengers who’ve already booked trips for the first two weeks of May will be given refunds and offered other travel alternatives.
