'Unique' 4-wheeler bike cart stolen in Nanaimo found after tip: RCMP

Nanaimo RCMP say bike cart that was stolen overnight from the yard of a home on Columbia Street has been found.

According to police, the theft happened sometime overnight between Sunday, April 26 and Monday, April 27.

Police described the bike as a “very unique, two-person, four-wheel bike cart.” The cart style is side by side with a reclining seat.

On Monday evening, Nanaimo RCMP said thanks to a tip from a Good Samaritan, the stolen bike has been located in one piece and undamaged.

No charges are expected and the owner is just glad to have it back in his possession, police said.
