An online meal delivery service in Canada has expanded to include 30 new markets for service, including Victoria.

Uber Eats, an online food delivery service that launched in Canada in December 2015, went live in Victoria Thursday.

Since its launch in Toronto as a test market for the company, Uber Eats says it has grown to more than 8,000 restaurants across the country for diners to choose to have food delivered from.

Customers can download the Uber Eats app or go to its website, then pick a meal from the restaurants available and a delivery location.

When an order is placed, you can also track the progress of your delivery with live updates.

The company says participating restaurants have the potential to reach “a new network of potential customers.”
