Highway 1 near Mill Bay reopened Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash blocked the highway entirely.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Highway 1 and Butterfield Road around 9:20 a.m.
The highway was closed just south of Mill Bay between Deloume Road and Shawnigan Lake Road for much of the day. In update at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, DriveBC said the road had reopened in both directions.
BC Emergency Health Services says two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but no patients were taken to hospital.
