Fire crews had to use the Jaws of Life to free two people trapped in a car that left a road and flipped onto its side at a front yard in Colwood.
Police and firefighters were called just before 5 p.m. to Kelly Road for a report of a collision. Once they arrived, they found a car in its side in the front yard of a home.
The Jaws of Life were used to extract the two people in the vehicle. They were both taken to hospital.
A witness told CHEK News that a man and a woman were in the vehicle, and the man was driving.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Kelly Road was closed following the crash.
