Two people were reportedly pulled out of the water near Gorge Road and Tillicum Road on March 14.

Emergency crews were at a dock at Gorge Road and Tillicum Road Wednesday afternoon after one man was pulled from the water.

Victoria and Saanich crews were called after two people were spotted struggling in the water just after 4:30 p.m. One man was apparently in distress near the bridge and another person reportedly jumped in to help the man.

Both people were taken out of the water. Police were performing CPR on one man after he was removed from the water. Paramedics have now attended to the man and have taken him off the dock. The man’s condition is unknown at this time. He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
