A two-month-long investigation has led the West Shore RCMP Drug and Organized Crime Unit to seizing drugs, guns and cash during an executed search warrant earlier this month.

RCMP says that officers executed a warrant on October 8 at a residence on Atticus Crt in Langford.

During the warrant, police found and seized an ounce of suspected cocaine, a half-ounce of suspected crack cocaine, a handgun, a shotgun, over $4,000 in Canadian currency, and a Range Rover.

As a result of the warrant, police arrested a 29-year-old man from Langford as well.

Not only will a detailed report to Crown Counsel be forwarded for a recommendation of criminal charges, but the Range Rover and cash were also seized and sent to the Civil Forfeiture Office, says Cpl. Ryan Walsh of the Drug and Organized Crime Unit.

Anyone with possible information regarding this situation is being asked to contact the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.
