Port Alberni RCMP are investigating after a two-vehicle collision sent two people to hospital on Thursday.
The crash involving a silver Lincoln Continental and a brown Buick Century happened in the intersection of Roger Street and 6th Avenue at 12:40 p.m.
The Buick suffered heavy damage to the driver’s side door and the Port Alberni Fire Department was called in to help get the driver out safely.
Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
