UPDATE: Commuters saw some delays on Douglas Street Wednesday evening as police responded to two different crashes.

Victoria police tweeted at around 4:10 p.m. that officers were responding to a rollover crash at Douglas Street and Chatham Street/Caledonia Avenue.

Authorities say two vehicles were involved in the collision that saw one of the vehicle’s rolled over.

Police say both drivers were wearing seatbelts and had non-life threatening injuries, and both were treated at the scene by BC Ambulance personnel.

VicPD says there is no indication alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Then six minutes later, VicPD tweeted about another collision at the corner of Douglas and Larch streets.

The Douglas and Chatham intersection was reportedly closed to traffic but then cleared just after 5 p.m.

A photo posted to Twitter showed a vehicle on its side in the intersection.

There’s no word on a cause of the crash.
