Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is spending much of the week in British Columbia with meetings planned with First Nations, Premier John Horgan and federal Liberal party supporters.

He’ll deliver the keynote address today at Globe Forum 2022, a North American climate and sustainability conference being held in Vancouver.

The prime minister will be joined at the conference by Environment and Climate Change Minister Steven Guilbeault and Jonathan Wilkinson, the natural resources minister.

Trudeau also has a meeting with Horgan this afternoon and then will attend two Liberal Party of Canada fundraising events at a Vancouver hotel.

The Williams Lake First Nation in B-C’s Cariboo region says the prime minister will visit there on Wednesday.

Chief Willie Sellars and their members will speak with Trudeau about their recent investigation that found the possible remains of 93 children around the former St. Joseph’s residential school on their territory.
