Police are investigating after a truck was driven into a traffic signal light post in downtown Victoria Wednesday morning.
Victoria police say the male driver appeared to have a medical issue and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Yates and Douglas Streets, with the signal light that was hit coming down.
Authorities say there are no other injuries.

Traffic in the area is disrupted, with Yates closed from Blanshard to Broad Streets and police are directing traffic.
