The Saanich Fire Department is treating a recent truck fire as suspicious in nature.
According to a media release issued by the Saanich Police, officers along with firefighters from the Saanich Fire Department responded to a truck fire in the 600-block of Ridgebank Crescent at 5:45 a.m. on June 6.
The fire spread damaged a nearby vehicle as well, according to the release. Both the Saanich police and the Saanich Fire Department consider the fire as suspicious and are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in that area leading up to or after the fire to come forward.
